As part of the Marketing Skills Council at Narmada College of Management, Bharuch, we organized a lecture on Issues in Sales and Distribution in the Ice Cream Industry by Shri Himanshu Shah, Deputy General  Manager, Vadilal Ice cream Ltd.  

Shri  Himanshu Shah was kind enough to accept our invitation for sharing  his live experience  with out students. Despite having a very busy schedule, he came to the College for sharing his invaluable experience with the students.

He began his talk by discussing the various types of sales and selling situations which a salesperson faces in his daily routine and how to be a successful salesperson. He stressed that relationship building is very important in the sales field. He also discussed important issues related to distribution management and problems and solutions with dealers distributors with live and practical examples.

He also had a lively discussion with the students on a range of issues which the students found very interesting and an important value addition in their learning experience.

Our students Ms. Fatema Ibrahim Surti and Ms. Sashista A. Chauhan participated in  "All India Essay Writing Event 2016" organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United Nation Information Center for India and Bhutan, and The Heartfulness Institute.

Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of.
