SPEAKER: SHRI SHARADKUMAR MEHTA/VAIBHAVI MEHTA

DATE: 08/02/2016, MONDAY, 11:00 TO 13:00 HRS, CLASSROOM -III

Shri Sharadkumar Mehta, Global HR Manager, ITMC Soft India Private Limited, Vadodara, shared his rich experience of 30 years in the field of HR with students on building a dream career for them.

He began with an observation that each one of us is unique. There is no point in comparing and being jealous with others. We all have been made unique by our creator. He urged the students to work hard, read regularly, and gave his own example of regularly reading even now. Before you go to sleep, read something.

His 45 minute session was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.

Later Ms. Vaibhavi Mehta, an insurance industry professional and an alumnus of the BBA programme of Narmada College of Science and Commerce, working in Singapore, shared her experiences of how starting from a small College in Bharuch, she went to work with a multinational company in the insurance sector in Singapore.

She urged the students to be more open and accepting in life. She told the students – “Do not have preconceived notions and choices. Take life as it comes and be ready to accept challenges in life”.

The students thoroughly enjoyed both the sessions.
